5 months

Kinsley is 5 months old today! She is starting to be such a big girl. She spends a lot of time in her jumperoo and loves sitting up on people's laps. After she gets up from her nap this afternoon we are trying green beans.

4.5 months

Kinsley had her 4 month (really 4.5 month) check-up yesterday. She weighs 17 lbs 13 oz and is 26 in long- 95th percentile for both! We also got the go ahead to start solid foods- so rice cereal for now and vegetables to follow in the next couple of weeks. She did cereal for the first time this morning and loved it! She was actually able to swallow pretty well, and by the 3rd or 4th spoonful was grabbing the spoon and putting it in her mouth.

Happy New Year

We are glad to report that Kinsley is feeling much better- no more medicine, and only using her nebulizer if needed!

Over New Year's we had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Benson, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Cara, and Cousin Gabe. It was great to celebrate one more Christmas and once again Kinsley was a pretty lucky little girl. She stayed awake for this Christmas and had fun pulling on the wrapping paper.

Last week we tried to get back in our routine, but ended up snowed in on Thursday and Friday. We are hoping for a full week of normalcy this week, and looking forward to some warmer weather. Kinsley's 4 (actually 4.5) month check-up is next Monday!
