Catching Up

Kinsley had her 1 year appointment on Friday. She is 24 lbs and 31 inches long- 95th percentile for both! You can definitely see her thinning out now that she is so much busier and really working on walking. She is also completely off of bottles. Her favorite things to do are put on hats and try to get into things she's not supposed to. She can point to her hair, ears, nose, belly, and toes. She can say mama, dada, Clo, dog, Laila, baby, bye, more, all done, off, down, ball, hat, hi, bah (for cup now), bath, ni-ni, shoes (doos), and probably some more. She also signs dog, more, all done, ball, hat, bah (milk), cup, eat, bath, fan, light, duck, cat, and shoes. Last week we went to the park and got some good pictures, unfortunately this weekend was rainy and dreary so we spent most of our days indoors.

Beginning Walker

Kinsley is getting more confident in her walking. With mommy and daddy coaching she will take 5-6 steps on her own. Tonight she also let go of the bench and tried to walk across the living room without any coaching!!

We also took Kinsley to the park today. She loved swinging and playing on the little playground. We only had Michael's phone so we didn't get the best of pics. Next time we will have to take the regular camera that snaps a little faster. After the park we also went to Target and Scheel's- Kinsley LOVES shopping. Although it was a sea of black and gold we still had a good time. She even checked out some possibilities for her first bow and gun. The rest of our 3 day weekend is going to be filled with wrapping up some organizing at home and hopefully some relaxing!
