Big Trip

We left yesterday for Kinsley's allergy re-check in La Crosse. Outside of the pokes at the doctor we had a great trip. Kinsley was good in the car and loved her first viewing of Elmo's World- she now knows who she likes so much! We got an awesome upgrade for our room at the hotel and even got to go swimming before her appointment. We did some adjusting to her drops to hopefully get her back on track with that, and some testing for pollens which luckily weren't significant! She has her 18 month check-up next Thursday (yes she is almost 19 months but we had to wait enough time between vaccinations).
We've also had some random fun this week for Spring Break. We are looking forward to a few more days off, and Kinsley is especially looking forward to getting her Cloey back on Friday.

18 months

Kinsley is 18 months old!! At the doctor last weekend she weiged 28.2 lbs and was 32.5 inches long. She doesn't officially have her 18 month check-up until the end of March (has to have 6 months between shots).

Kinsley is exploding in everything everyday. She picks up new phrases all the time and wants to do things on her own. She is getting really interested in coloring and also likes the ColorWonder fingerpaints. She loves unzipping her coat and putting on her shoes. She is still all about the babies but also likes building with blocks and playing with the Little People farm. BabySigning Time is still the fave movie, and has gotten through the last few days of nebulizer treatments!

Some "Kinsley-isms"
'ere you go (here you go)
rock and roll, uh-huh
baby, ni-ni, shhh (Kinsley often says this to her baby when she is supposed to be sleeping)
wourt (yogurt)
bye-bye, coat, hat, mitties (mittens)

Kinsley is also in a big labeling stage. She labels all the people in her life (mama, daddy, Cloey, papa, ma (Grandma),Max, Laila, Spencer, Manme (Mandy), body parts (hair, ear, eye, nose, mouth, cheeks, back, belly, leg, toes, hannies), and animals/sounds (cow, horse, sheep, pig, dog, cat, bird, snake, coyote, turkey, deer, bear, lion, monkey).
