11 months

Kinsley is 11 months old today. It is hard to believe how much she has grown and how many skills she's mastered over the summer. She is still cruising and pushing her lion, but is now standing for a few seconds on her own. She is also crawling on her knees. Her favorite thing to do is to roll her ball into the kitchen and then chase after it. She has words for many things, even though they might not be "exactly" how you say it. She says ball, Clo (Cloey), baa-buh (baby), buh (book), ba-bub (bubbles). She is still waving and signs more, all done, ball, fan, dog, bath, and milk (ba-ba-ba). She uses "more" pretty much anytime she wants something! She can point to her hair and will find other people's bellies but not her own!
On Monday we will be making our big move and it will be interesting to see how all the adjustments go there. It will be a busy week and we are looking forward to having everything settled so we can begin our new adventure in Coralville.

Iowa Girl

This weekend Kinsley got to experience being a real Iowa girl! On Saturday we went to the Floyd County Fair, and although there wasn't too much excitement Kinsley got to check out some cows, chickens, goats, and horses. Then on Sunday Kinsley got to have a taste of sweet corn and also took a little ride on the mower with daddy.

In unrelated news Kinsley is officially a crawler!!!

Kinsley loved the horses, when we walked in the barn she kept saying, "oooh"

Week in Review

Kinsley is still having a fun summer. Last week we had to spend more time indoors since it was HOT outside. On Friday she had her allergy testing- we get the results this week sometime. On Friday her top tooth finally came through too! It's starting to look like she might be working on another bottom one as well.
And the biggest news last week was that on Tuesday Kinsley got a new cousin! We got to visit Elise on Saturday and she is definitely a little sweetie!
In the coming weeks we will be moving to Coralville so there will be a lot of busy days ahead. I'm also starting to work on plans for Kinsley's first birthday which is coming faster than it should!

10 months

Kinsley had her 10 monthday last Wednesday. After a photo shoot at home we were off for our busy and wonderful weekend. We did find a baby-sitter, it wasn't the one we visited on Wednesday but it actually turned out for the best. The baby-sitter we visited on Friday will only have Kinsley and her 20 month old until her two older kids get home from school. We also got to spend time at both grandparents, no major events just getting to have fun visiting.
